1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Faraday ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including account owners and invited team members.
2. Description of Service
Faraday is a cloud-based management platform for electrical subcontractors. The Service includes estimating, job management, scheduling, invoicing, document management, time tracking, and a general contractor portal. Features vary by subscription plan.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Subscription and Billing
Faraday offers paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
6. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload to Faraday. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service. You may export or delete your data at any time.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faraday and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting support.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
